Lori Roetlin is seeking a 4-year term on the Iowa City Community School District School Board. She has spent over two decades working with children and families in her career as a social worker and has been employed by the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for nearly 18 years.

Lori received her undergraduate education from Hesston College and Bethel College and earned her Masters of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University. She is the parent of one child who attends Coralville Central Elementary, and has a son and two stepchildren who attend West High. Lori has been an active volunteer at Coralville Central and Northwest Junior High.

Her priorities include:

  • Finding common sense solutions for our district’s challenges
  • Collaborative communication between board members, administration, and district stakeholders
  • Creating opportunities for ALL students

Lori believes that every child in our district deserves the best opportunities we can provide for them. If she is elected, she will work tirelessly to make sure all children in the ICCSD have everything they need to be successful in the future.
